On 31st July, 2018, Delta State Contributory Health Commission (DSCHC) won the Health Insurance Registration Platform Award presented by the Vice-President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo. This was awarded due to quality and excellent healthcare service delivery to the residence of the state through the health insurance scheme.
The operations of the DSCHC mainly relies on the management information systems built for them by eClat Healthcare Ltd. This system provides an efficient registration/enrollment platform that incorporates both offline and online modes across mobile and desktop channels.
The DSCHC was established to improve both physical and financial access for all residents of Delta State to quality healthcare services.
Delta State Contributory Health Commission Bill was signed into law by the Governor of Delta State Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on the 4th of February 2016.
Receiving the award, Chairman, Governing Board of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission, Dr Isaac Akpoveta, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission, Dr Ben Nkechika, The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barrister Kingsley Burutu Otuaro.

Following the various successes made with the deployment of eClinic and ePHC software in Nigeria, eClat Healthcare Ltd. has opened a new office in Swaziland to specifically target the Southern-Africa region.

To effectively keep medical records of patients, the management of WAMCO (makers of Peak Milk) Clinic have confirmed that eClinic software will be deployed.
eClinic will be used to keep all medical and health records of staff and workers at the factory and also integrate with their internal systems so as to best align human resource management activities with health records.
Subsequent to the management’s approval for the deployment of eClinic at their 2 hospital locations in Ibadan, Nigeria, Victory Medical Center now enjoys the many benefits of eClinic.
The Oyo State Government has approved the deployment of eClinic to selected 33 PHCs – one from each Local Government Area of the State. The project is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare delivery in the State.
